Securities Finance Operations Specialist - OCBC

WHAT YOU WILL DO: * Perform daily operational tasks related to securities finance transactions including trade capture, settlements, corporate actions, and margin calls. * Ensure timely and accurate processing of securities lending and borrowing activities, including collateral management. * Monitor and reconcile positions and cash flows, resolving discrepancies in a timely manner. * Liaise with internal stakeholders, such as trading desks, custodians, and technology teams, to resolve issues and improve processes. * Stay abreast of market changes, regulatory updates, and industry best practices in securities finance. * Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives. * Participate in system enhancements and testing. * Prepare reports for management and regulatory bodies. WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED: * Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. * Minimum of 3 years of experience in securities finance operations or a related area. * Strong understanding of securities lending and borrowing, collateral management, and related regulatory requirements. * Knowledge of financial markets, instruments, and trading practices. * Proficiency in using relevant financial systems and tools. * Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks. * Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. * Familiarity with SWIFT messaging and market practices is a plus.
