The ODG Picpoul de Pinet Association brings together the stakeholders of an appellation recognized for its dynamism, its strong identity, and its development.

At a key moment in its history, the organization is opening a new chapter. After several years of structuring and development, the Association is evolving its governance to meet the challenges of tomorrow: preservation of the territory, economic development of the appellation, enhancement of its image, and defense of its interests.

In this context, we are recruiting its future:

Director of the ODG Picpoul de Pinet Association (M/F)

Your mission

As the President's right-hand man and the primary point of contact for the Board, the Board of Directors, and the commissions, you will be responsible for implementing the Association's strategy.

You will lead all of the structure's activities and support a renewed governance by coordinating the many stakeholders of the appellation.

Both a strategist and an operational manager, you will ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the Association while driving major projects and contributing to the strategic evolution of the appellation and supporting the collective projects of the professionals.

Your main responsibilities

You will intervene in particular on the following aspects:

Lead the administrative, financial, and HR management of the Association.

Prepare, lead, and ensure the follow-up of governance bodies.

Support elected officials in implementing their strategic orientations.

Represent the Association to institutional and professional partners (INAO, CIVL, local authorities, FranceAgriMer, etc.).

Champion the appellation's strategic projects: area revision, AOP protection, land issues, irrigation, infrastructure, territorial development...

Develop and manage funding and subsidy applications.

Oversee communication strategy and contribute to the appellation's influence.

Develop cohesion among members and rally the various stakeholders around collective projects.

The profile we are looking for

You have successful prior experience in management, structure leadership, or complex project management roles.

You know how to operate in environments where technical, economic, institutional, and human dimensions are closely linked.

You are recognized for:

Your leadership and ability to unite;

Your ease of communication with high-level contacts;

Your excellent writing skills;

Your organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously;

Your ability to convince, negotiate, and represent an organization.

You appreciate environments where decisions are made collectively and know how to demonstrate diplomacy, discernment, and pragmatism.

Knowledge of the wine sector, agricultural sectors, or professional organizations is a real asset, though not essential. We are primarily looking for a director capable of managing, coordinating, and bringing projects to fruition.

Conditions

Permanent contract (CDI). Position to be filled on October 1st.

Professional English appreciated in the context of appellation enhancement activities.

Position based in Pinet (34)

Regular travel in Occitanie and occasionally at national level

Salary €40,000-€45,000
