About the Role

My client is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Secondary Teacher that specialises in Mathematics or English to join their independent, co-educational faith-based school in Wellington from January 2026.

You'll teach across Years 9-13, delivering engaging, high-quality learning within a structured yet innovative environment that supports both student achievement and teacher wellbeing.

About You
You'll be a New Zealand registered teacher (or eligible to register) who:

• Ideally have experience teaching within the New Zealand Curriculum and NCEA framework
• Demonstrate strong classroom practice and a student-centred approach
• Build positive, respectful relationships with students and colleagues
• Embrace innovation, technology, and reflective teaching practice
• Contribute positively to a collegial and values-driven team environment
