About the Role
My client is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Secondary Teacher that specialises in Mathematics to join their independent, co-educational faith-based school in Gisborne from January 2026.
You'll teach across Years 9-13, delivering engaging, high-quality learning within a structured yet innovative environment that supports both student achievement and teacher wellbeing.
This is an opportunity to make a real difference in a school that values relational teaching, collaboration, and professional excellence.
About You
You'll be a New Zealand registered teacher (or eligible to register) who:
- Ideally have experience teaching within the New Zealand Curriculum and NCEA framework
- Demonstrate strong classroom practice and a student-centred approach
- Build positive, respectful relationships with students and colleagues
- Embrace innovation, technology, and reflective teaching practice
- Contribute positively to a collegial and values-driven team environment
