About the role

Skillinvest is seeking enthusiastic Field Workers for the upcoming 2025/26 harvest season in Horsham & surrounding areas. Based with a leading crop research organisation, you will undertake a range of tasks to support glasshouse, lab & field operations.

Duties

• Assembling trial tents & cages
• Labouring / shoveling
• Manual picking & harvesting of plants
• Bagging Canola plants in flower
• Cleaning, treating & bagging seed
• Sowing seeds in pots

About you

• Reliable, flexible availability and able to work at short notice
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Strong attention to detail
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying conditions
• Physically fit and able to meet manual requirements

Casual work is anticipated to kick-off in October 2025. Due to the seasonal nature of the role, work requirements will fluctuate throughout the season.
