Your role with us:

Search & Discovery Manager (E-Commerce) (m/w/d)

You are responsible for continuously developing central onsite functions of our E-commerce shop – with a special focus on search, navigation, product presentation, and increasing conversion.

Your tasks:

• You develop our onsite search and discovery functions strategically further and optimize relevant KPIs such as Conversion Rate, CTR, AOV, and Revenue per Session.
• You analyze user behavior, search queries, and performance data and lead concrete optimization measures.
• You plan, prioritize, and steer tests (A/B-tests, rule optimizations, merchandising measures) and test their impact.
• You work closely with UX, BI, Marketing, and Development together to efficiently implement optimizations.
• You ensure that search and product finding are seamlessly integrated into the entire Customer Journey.
• You identify potential for automation and personalization along the Customer Journey.

Job requirements

Your profile:

• You have several years of experience in E-commerce, ideally as Product Owner, Digital Product Manager, Growth Manager, or E-commerce Strategist.
• You possess strong analytical thinking and experience working with KPIs, dashboards, and hypothesis building.
• You have experience with A/B-testing, conversion optimization, or onsite optimization.
• You possess technical basic understanding for APIs, integrations, and SaaS systems.
• You can drive projects independently and coordinate various stakeholders.
• You communicate clearly and make pragmatic decisions.
• You possess very good German and English skills in writing and speaking.
• Nice to have: You have experience with onsite search or recommendation systems, analytics tools like GA4, BigQuery, or BI tools, as well as in the Headless or MACH environment.
