Seafreight and Airfreight Import Controller

RPO's client is seeking experienced Seafreight and Airfreight Import Controllers to join their team. One position is available in each department.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate the import process for seafreight or airfreight shipments.
• Ensure timely and accurate documentation for customs clearance.
• Liaise with clients, shipping lines, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth import operations.
• Monitor shipment status and proactively address any delays or issues.
• Handle invoicing, billing, and payment processes related to import shipments.
• Maintain up-to-date records and ensure compliance with all regulations.
• Provide exceptional customer service to clients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.

Requirements:

• 3-7 years of experience in freight and clearing (No shipping lines or courier).
• Valid driver's license and own car (Non-negotiable).
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in relevant software and systems used in freight and clearing operations.
