SDET / Automation Test Engineer

Role Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Test Engineer with strong expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining robust automation frameworks for API and UI testing across cloud and AI-driven platforms. The ideal candidate has deep technical experience in Python-based automation, CI/CD integration, and cross-functional collaboration in Agile environments. Key Responsibilities * Automation Framework Design & Maintenance: * Develop and enhance scalable, modular test automation frameworks. * Design and implement automation solutions for API and UI testing. * Maintain and optimize existing automation scripts and test suites. * Test Automation Development: * Write and execute automated test scripts using Python. * Develop and maintain test data and test environments. * Integrate automation tests into CI/CD pipelines. * Collaboration and Communication: * Collaborate with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders. * Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. * Communicate test results and findings clearly and concisely. * Performance and Scalability: * Monitor and analyze test results to identify performance bottlenecks. * Improve test automation efficiency and scalability. * Implement strategies for parallel test execution. Qualifications * Education: * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. * Experience: * 5+ years of experience in software testing and automation. * Strong proficiency in Python scripting. * Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, Rest-assured). * Experience with UI automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright). * Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI). * Experience with Agile methodologies. * Skills: * Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. * Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Preferred Qualifications: * Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP). * Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). * Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling). * Experience with testing AI-driven platforms.
