Job Description: SCM Functional Consultant (Oracle/ERP) Location: Chennai Experience: 6 to 15 Years Employment Type: Full-Time Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced SCM Functional Consultant to join our team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in the Order to Cash (O2C) cycle. While we recognize that your primary expertise may lie in O2C, this role will involve working across the broader Supply Chain Management suite. We are looking for professionals ready to apply their skills and knowledge to drive business outcomes. Key Responsibilities: • Provide functional consulting services to clients on Oracle SCM modules such as Order Management, Inventory Management, and Shipping and Receiving. • Collaborate with clients to identify and prioritize business requirements and develop solutions that meet those needs. • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients through regular communication and issue resolution. • Stay up-to-date with the latest Oracle SCM releases and features, and apply this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement in client solutions. • Participate in project planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. • Work closely with other teams, such as sales, marketing, and product development, to ensure alignment and effective communication. • Identify and capitalize on opportunities for growth and expansion in existing client relationships. • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Oracle SCM products and services, including their features, functionality, and integration capabilities. • Provide training and support to clients on the use and implementation of Oracle SCM solutions. • Collaborate with internal teams to develop and deliver high-quality training programs for clients. • Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies that impact the supply chain management landscape. • Develop and maintain a network of professional contacts within the industry to stay informed about market developments and opportunities. • Participate in internal knowledge-sharing initiatives to leverage expertise and best practices across the organization. • Contribute to the development of thought leadership content, such as whitepapers, case studies, and webinars, that showcase the company's expertise and value proposition. • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the client's business needs, goals, and objectives, and apply this knowledge to drive business outcomes. Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field. • 6-15 years of experience in supply chain management, with a focus on Oracle SCM modules such as Order Management, Inventory Management, and Shipping and Receiving. • Proven track record of delivering successful projects and driving business outcomes through the application of supply chain management principles and best practices. • Strong understanding of the order-to-cash cycle and its impact on supply chain operations. • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically. • Experience working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive business outcomes. • Strong understanding of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies that impact supply chain management.
