Scientific project assistant postdoc

Where you will be:The position is hosted by the research group Technology and Innovation Management (TIM) at the Faculty of Business, Economics and Statistics.About the projectSUSTECH investigates how technological trajectories in chemistry and pharmaceuticals evolve, with a particular focus on the selection of hazardous versus sustainable innovations. The project combines large-scale data on chemical compounds and patents with computational chemistry and machine learning to generate novel insights into the dynamics of innovation systems. This will involve working closely with the research group's members, as well as other stakeholders in the field. The position is designed for a postdoctoral researcher who has recently completed their PhD or is close to completing it. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in chemistry, pharmaceuticals, or a related field, and experience with data analysis and machine learning techniques. The ability to work independently and as part of a team is also essential.
