Welder/Welding Specialist (m/w/d) Welding Surveillance
We are expanding our team and filling this position in the Düsseldorf/Niederrhein area. Your job will be to take over internal and external surveillance of welding supervision and welders on the implementation of welding work according to regulatory requirements, including checking welding messages and releasing welding operations
You will prepare customer acceptance tests and meetings and conduct them
Furthermore, you will take control of technical documentation and process and work inspections (VP/AP)
You will initiate batch testing, perform incoming controls, releases, and certificate management for welding additions and check welding protocols and heat treatment diagrams
In addition, you will contribute to the qualification of new welding procedures and the introduction of new materials as well as continuous improvement processes
Your potential With pleasure and success completed further education as a mechanical engineer (m/w/d) or equivalent, in addition to training as a welder or welding specialist (m/w/d)
You bring several years of relevant professional experience in a welding or production company
Knowledge of the AD 2000, DGRL, and/or ASME regulations is advantageous
Desirable are also practical knowledge of common welding processes such as WIG, MIG/MAG, UP, plasma, and laser welding, as well as knowledge of ventilation and valve technology
You have good MS-Office skills, ideally you also have experience with SAP
In addition to very good German language skills (C1), you bring good English language skills (B2) and are willing to accompany international acceptance tests on site
