Welder (m/f/d)

VRT Nord GmbH, based in Kiel / Dänischenhagen, has specialized in welding work since its founding in 2010. The focus of our projects lies in the repair, maintenance, and service of welded structures, mechanical engineering components, buildings, and plants of all kinds. From the repair of wind turbines to the new construction of base frames for small wind turbines, we also offer the associated full-lifetime service (e.g., monitoring and repair of machine supports). We carry out welding repairs on various types of systems, such as cracks and other damage from the past. Our expertise includes the repair of dents in towers caused by blade losses. Our excellently trained personnel ensure that not only are damages repaired, but non-destructive testing is also guaranteed before, during, and after completion.

• Performance of general welding work on steel components and steel structures
• Repair and maintenance work on components of wind turbines (steel, aluminum)
• Preparation and post-treatment of welds (quality, dimensional accuracy, cleaning, grinding, etc.)
• Independent completion of orders according to specifications

• You have completed vocational training in a metal construction trade
• Ideally, you have welding experience in TIG / stick welding processes in steel construction (repair, maintenance, assembly, etc.) or
• Ideally, you are a certified welder (m/f/d) and have relevant professional experience or
• You are absolutely fit for heights
• You enjoy traveling and are willing to undertake assembly assignments throughout Germany, Europe, and possibly worldwide
• You possess a valid driver's license class B
• You have good German and English language skills
