Your Mission:

At FMA-Freitaler- Metall- und Anlagenbau GmbH, you bear central responsibility in pre-processing to ensure that precisely manufactured steel components are created from raw material, forming the basis for our entire welded assembly manufacturing. You don't just work in the process, but ensure that quality, workflow, and material flow function stably, and that our manufacturing runs reliably and efficiently. Together with your team, you ensure that production is prepared and that each component proceeds to the next manufacturing stage with the correct quality and at the right pace.

Your Responsibility:

• Operational Manufacturing in Pre-processing

  Responsibility for the entire operational pre-processing in pre-processing as the basis for welded assembly manufacturing. You actively participate in the processing of steel components and ensure that quality, dimensional accuracy, and process specifications are met.

• Team Responsibility and Employee Development in Pre-processing

  Technical responsibility in the daily business of pre-processing with active coordination of task allocation within the team, as well as ensuring a stable manufacturing workflow through continuous coordination and support in technical decisions. Additionally, responsibility for the structured onboarding of new employees, fostering technical competencies, and developing self-directed work methods within the team with the goal of quick and sustainable integration into the manufacturing process.

• Continuous Process Improvements

  Participation in the analysis and optimization of existing manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, reduce lead times, and improve quality in coordination with production management.

• Interface Work with Production and Technology

  Close coordination with work preparation, production management, and quality assurance to ensure efficient processes and on-time manufacturing with high quality.

Your Profile:

• Completed vocational training in the metal sector, e.g., industrial mechanic, structural mechanic, or comparable.

• Experience in metal processing and welding, as well as in understanding technical drawings.

• Welder qualifications (MAG) are a prerequisite.

• Initial experience in technically guiding employees is an advantage.

• Independent and structured way of working with a high degree of quality awareness.

• Team player and willingness to work in a performance-oriented environment.

• Willingness to work shifts.

• Good German language skills C1.

• Forklift and crane license are an advantage.

• A starting salary between €17 and €19 gross per hour.
