Your Mission:

At FMA-Freitaler- Metall- und Anlagenbau GmbH, you hold central responsibility in pre-processing to ensure that precisely manufactured steel components are created from raw material, forming the basis for our entire welded assembly production. You not only work within the process, but also ensure that quality, workflow, and material flow function stably and that our production runs reliably and efficiently. Together with your team, you ensure that production is prepared and that each component proceeds to the next manufacturing stage with the correct quality and at the correct pace.

Your Responsibility:

• Operational Production in Pre-processing

  Responsibility for the entire operational pre-processing as the basis for welded assembly production. In doing so, you actively participate in the processing of steel components and ensure that quality, dimensional accuracy, and process specifications are adhered to.

• Team Responsibility and Employee Development in Pre-processing

  Technical responsibility in the daily business of pre-processing with active management of task distribution within the team, as well as ensuring a stable production workflow through continuous coordination and support with technical decisions. Additionally, responsibility for the structured onboarding of new employees, as well as fostering technical competencies and developing self-reliant work methods within the team, with the goal of quick and sustainable integration into the manufacturing process.

• Continuous Process Improvements

  Participation in the analysis and optimization of existing manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, reduce lead times, and improve quality in coordination with production management.

• Interface Work with Production and Engineering

  Close coordination with work preparation, production management, and quality assurance to ensure efficient workflows and on-time production with high quality.

Your Profile:

• Completed vocational training in the metal sector, e.g., industrial mechanic, structural mechanic, or comparable

• Experience in metal processing and welding, as well as understanding technical drawings

• Welder certifications (MAG) are required

• Initial experience in the technical guidance of employees is advantageous

• Independent and structured way of working with a high awareness of quality

• Team player and willingness to work in a performance-oriented environment

• Willingness for shift work

• Good German language skills C1

• Forklift and crane operator license advantageous

• Starting salary between €17 and €19 gross per hour
