School Site Manager - Birmingham

Blue Arrow are recruiting a Site Manager to run the facilities team of a school in Birmingham.

Job role:

• Manage the facilities team, delegating task
• Manage key site services such as heating, lighting, waste disposal and security, responding promptly to faults or emergencies.
• Monitor and maintain all health and safety requirements, including fire safety checks, COSHH compliance, emergency lighting and site risk records.
• Lead and supervise the cleaning team and site assistant, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and effective staff deployment.
• Maintaining the school buildings, grounds and undertaking janitorial and cleaning work
• Maintain the security of the school's buildings and grounds, ensuring health and safety is maintained at all times
• Ensuring the school's policies and procedures in line with Health and Safety Regulations, risk management, site security and compliance with safeguarding

About you:

• Experience in general maintenance, caretaking, or site support work.
• Good understanding of COSHH awareness and Health and Safety knowledge.
• Holds an ENHANCED Child DBS in date within the last 12 months, or an ENHANCED DBS on the update service.
• Must have safeguarding training - BlueArrow can provide this if required
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Hours: Monday to Friday 6.30am-2pm

Pay Rate: £14.00 per hour
