Overview of role: The School Counsellor at Trinityhouse Little Falls High School is a vital support in nurturing students academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually within a Christian educational setting. Responsibilities: Counselling Services: Provide holistic counselling addressing academic, social, and emotional needs of students; facilitate group and individual sessions to promote personal growth, self-awareness, and self-acceptance; develop and implement individualised plans to support students' academic and personal development; maintain accurate records of counselling sessions and progress; and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders to ensure a comprehensive approach to student support. Requirements: A Bachelor's degree in Counselling, Psychology, or a related field; a minimum of 2 years' experience in a school setting; a valid teaching or counselling qualification; and a strong understanding of Christian values and principles.
