We train apprentices in six different apprenticeships at the St. Gallen location, which are presented on our homepage.
Please note that we cannot offer an apprenticeship for every apprenticeship for the summer of 2027. Your tasks During the taster apprenticeship (1 or 2 days), you have the opportunity to get to know the daily work of the corresponding apprenticeship with our vocational trainers and apprentices and can also carry out individual tasks yourself. We would like to introduce you to the profession and show you what the work in the research environment looks like.

Your profile You are a student in the second upper secondary school and have already informed yourself about the selected apprenticeship and, ideally, attended one of our information afternoons.
In the spring of 2026, a career information afternoon will also take place. You can register online for the afternoon and get a well-founded insight into the individual apprenticeships. Our offer We offer you an exciting day at Empa and a deep insight into the training of our diverse apprenticeships.
