For our location at BER Airport (Berlin-Brandenburg), we are looking for a

Locksmith/Metalworker for the Maintenance of Aviation Ground Support Equipment (m/f/d)

Your task is to support our workshop location in Schönefeld in the areas of maintenance, inspection, and repair of aviation ground support equipment / GSE (Ground Support Equipment). We are only satisfied when our customers can carry out their operational aircraft handling with high-quality and operationally reliable GSE.

Your Tasks in Detail

  • Maintenance and repair of aviation ground support equipment and vehicles according to recognized technical standards and manufacturer specifications
  • Operation of vehicles and aviation ground support equipment for functional checks
  • Carrying out test drives and service drives
  • Adherence to accident prevention regulations (DGUV)
  • Taking on special tasks

Your Profile

  • Ideally, completed vocational training as a locksmith or metalworker, alternatively: mechanic/mechatronics technician in the automotive/commercial vehicle sector or comparable training, career changers are also welcome
  • Good welding skills and practical experience in metalworking
  • Basic IT skills
  • Knowledge of relevant technical regulations and rules
  • Good German language skills, both written and spoken
  • Driving license class B
  • Ideally, forklift license
