Job Description A task that challenges. As a Switchmaster:in High Voltage (m/w/d), you are on the spot where things happen. You contribute to our network with your work, ensuring that your region is safe and reliable in terms of energy supply and that facilities for renewable energies can feed electricity into the grid. In the context of your activity, you monitor the network and supply security of the high-voltage network during shifts and grant permissions and approvals. You also inspect and test equipment and systems to ensure compliance with safety regulations. Your expertise is required to identify and resolve potential issues that could impact the stability of the power grid. You are responsible for ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies. In addition, you will be involved in planning and implementing measures to improve network reliability and efficiency. This includes identifying and addressing potential risks and hazards, as well as developing and implementing strategies to minimize the impact of power outages. Your work will have a direct impact on ensuring that our customers receive reliable and safe energy supply. You are expected to work independently and take initiative in your tasks, while also being part of a team that works together to achieve common goals. The position requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. You will be required to travel frequently to different locations within your region, which may involve overnight stays. Your work schedule will be based on a shift system, with regular working hours and occasional overtime. You are expected to maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive information and adhere to company policies and procedures. The position requires a high level of physical and mental stamina, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You must be willing to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities, while also being able to prioritize your tasks effectively. Your expertise will be used to identify and address potential issues that could impact the stability of the power grid. You are expected to take initiative in your tasks and work independently, while also being part of a team that works together to achieve common goals.
