Scent Design Associate

As Scent Design Associate , you will collaborate across functions and levels to contribute creatively to the development and introduction of new fragrance themes, technologies, consumer solutions, ideas and new development processes. The role is based in our Scent Creation department, where you will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop innovative scent concepts that meet customer needs. Your responsibilities will include: • Developing and maintaining a deep understanding of the company's fragrance portfolio and trends. • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities for new fragrance themes and technologies. • Conducting market research and analyzing consumer preferences to inform scent development. • Designing and developing new fragrance concepts that meet customer needs and align with business objectives. • Presenting and communicating fragrance ideas and concepts to cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and sales. • Collaborating with the Scent Creation team to develop and refine fragrance prototypes. • Conducting sensory evaluations of fragrance prototypes to ensure they meet customer expectations. • Providing input on fragrance naming, packaging, and labeling strategies. • Staying up-to-date with industry trends, consumer preferences, and competitor activity to inform scent development. • Participating in cross-functional teams to develop new product concepts that incorporate innovative fragrances. Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., fragrance science, sensory evaluation, marketing). • 2+ years of experience in the fragrance industry or related field. • Strong understanding of fragrance trends, consumer preferences, and market dynamics. • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities. • Strong analytical and creative thinking skills.
