Tasks

What we're looking for

We are seeking a SCADA Engineer who will lead the development of our SCADA, remote access, and data systems, using leading and new technologies to ensure that ITM's electrolyzer offer is linked with a comprehensive package for monitoring and data collection.

Your tasks

• Definition of future strategy for ITM on data collection and evaluation, scalable for GW-connected plants
• Development of the SCADA system from ITM to ensure it can keep pace with the company's growth (and the number of connected plants)
• Design and maintenance of hardware/software solutions and configurations for remote measurement
• Preparation of documentation for the control system according to company standards
• Implementation of future system upgrades
• Function as a subject matter expert for remote access technology and cybersecurity

Requirements

• Degree in Automation Technology, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Process Engineering
• Relevant work experience in the petrochemical, nuclear, energy, or process industries
• Experience in capturing system requirements and defining functional specifications
• Experience in developing industrial SCADA systems:
• Creation of graphs/dashboards/screens
• Alarm management systems
• Setup and management of servers
• Creation of VB scripts
• User administration
• Integration with other systems
• Familiarity with the fields of cybersecurity, WinCC SCADA, and/or OSI PI-Systems desirable
• Ideal experience in writing VBA scripts for automated reporting
• Experience with automating data/trend analysis
• Outstanding organizational skills, self-motivation, and teamwork
