Responsibilities

• Responsibility for the support, further development, and optimization of SAP processes in the sales environment with a clear focus on SAP SD
• Responsibility for end-to-end processes in sales from quotation processing to invoicing and their integration into adjacent processes
• Independent processing and planning of incidents, service requests, and changes in 1st to 2nd level support with sustainable problem solutions
• Support and development of interfaces between SAP SD and connected internal and external systems (e.g., EDI, logistics service providers, customer connections)
• Creation and maintenance of system, process, and test documentation as well as support for validation activities
• Conducting training sessions and coordination with key users to ensure stable, practical, and efficient SAP operations
• Support for digital transformation and active involvement in projects as well as the further development of the SAP system landscape

Qualifications

• Experience: Several years of experience in the support, further development, and customization of SAP applications with a focus on SAP SD and at least one completed project
• Know-how: Profound knowledge of end-to-end sales processes – from quotation and order processing, dispatch and delivery to invoicing – as well as experience in application management and in processing support requests and changes in 1st and 2nd level support
• Interfaces: Practical experience in supporting SAP interfaces as well as in collaboration with adjacent modules (e.g., MM, WM, EWM)
• Communication: Fluent German and good English skills, both written and spoken
• Degree: Completed studies in (Business) Informatics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a comparable field of study, combined with several years of professional experience as an SAP consultant
• Personality: Structured and independent way of working as well as the ability to translate functional requirements into practical solutions
• Willingness to travel: Driving license class B and willingness to undertake business trips of approximately 25%
