SAP SCM Consultant

*** SAP SCM Consultant - EU - Remote ***

Here at RED, we are looking for an SAP SCM Consultant to start on an SAP S/4 HANA project for one of our global end clients.

The SAP SCM Consultant is expected to start ASAP and for an initial 6 months contract with a possibility of extension. The project will be fully remote

What you will do:

• Acts as Subject Matter Expert (SME) within the workstream.
• Promotes implementation of best practices and translates core project design principles for the workstream.
• Identifies process gaps, defines new processes and ensures process standardisation across the region.
• Recommends innovative business and technical solutions to improve operational effectiveness.
• Define and manage scope within assigned work packages and prioritises requirements that add most value to organisation (Fit-For-Purpose). Supports the delivery of assigned work packages within the workstream, according to schedule, and report accomplishments to the Regional Deployment Lead.
• Ensures a high-quality standard of all work products and deliverable in full compliance with the documentation and tools set as standard within the project
• Challenges status quo and target break-through innovations.
• Participates in the full lifecycle of technology implementation. Builds and retains strong know-how on industry trends & best practice in SC Planning (process, systems, etc).

Desired Skills:

• Strong SCM experience
• Strong 3PL & 4PL Integration experience
• Strong Intercompany process experience
• Previous S/4 HANA experience
• Previous pharmaceutical experience
