SAC Planning Consultant (Onsite – Parramatta)

We’re supporting a major transformation program and seeking an experienced SAC Planning Consultant to help design and deliver next-generation financial and operational planning solutions. This is a senior, hands-on consulting role working on a complex SAP landscape with S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, Datasphere and SAP BTP.

About the Role

You will take a lead role in designing, building and optimising SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Planning models across CAPEX, OPEX, Revenue, HR, Depreciation and broader operational planning domains. The environment is modern and evolving, with significant focus on enterprise data integration, planning process uplift and driving better decision-making across the organisation.

This role is onsite in Parramatta and suited to a seasoned SAP professional comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders and translating business requirements into scalable, high-quality SAC solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver SAC Planning models including advanced formulas, data actions, allocations and predictive planning features
• Build and optimise planning structures aligned to Finance, Asset, HR and operational workflows
• Lead integration and data modelling across SAC, SAP Datasphere, BW/4HANA and S/4HANA
• Migrate planning content from SAP BPC (Classic or Embedded) into SAC where required
• Develop data acquisition, transformation and content networks using SAP BTP and related tools
• Work closely with Finance, Capital Planning, HR and Technology teams to build future-state planning capability
• Explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders and support change across the business
• Ensure high standards of quality, performance and best practice in planning and analytics delivery

What We’re Looking For

• 15+ years SAP experience with strong exposure to S/4HANA and BW/4HANA
• Proven experience delivering at least one end-to-end SAC Planning implementation
• Deep SAC modelling skills using data actions, allocations, advanced formulas and predictive features
• Hands-on experience with SAP BPC (Classic or Embedded)
• Strong understanding of SAP Datasphere, SAP BTP and enterprise data integration
• Ability to integrate SAC with SAP and non-SAP data sources
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Proactive, delivery-focused mindset with strong ownership and accountability

Desirable Experience

• Background in Finance, Accounting or Capital Planning
• Utilities or asset-intensive industry experience
• Exposure to long-term forecasting, asset planning or regulatory reporting environments
