We are looking for a Senior Developer for an integration project in the area of vehicle documentation on a S/4HANA-based maintenance platform. The role includes technical conception and implementation of adjustments in close cooperation with various project teams.

Your Tasks

• It must be checked whether the Dynamic Posting Processor (DPP) including extensions for position and price determination can be used, instead of the current DB logic based on a customer-owned functional module that is no longer used in the context of S/4HANA Service.

• Participation as Developer in the WeDoIT project in ISI

• Adjustment of existing programs for compatibility with the target system

• Reduction of Clean Core Violations

• Performance Analysis and Optimization in the Backend (Material Stems and Document Stems)

• Backend Development (Material List, Part List, DMS)

• Adjustment of SAP Interfaces (IDOC, API, RFC, ...)

• Frontend Adjustments

• Documentation

• Validation and adjustment of the architecture

• Cooperation with SAP and influencing product features

Must-Have Requirements

• Several years of practical experience in the SAP environment, particularly with the End-to-End Process in the area of SAP S/4HANA Service.

• Senior knowledge in on-cost billing with a focus on the Dynamic Posting Profile (DPP)

• Experience in development and technical consulting for the AAR-SST (Central Settlement Interface of DB)

• In-depth knowledge of SAP S/4HANA

• Deep understanding of ABAP and Backend programming, particularly in ABAP OO

• Proven expertise in modern SAP programming considering Clean Code, Clean Core, and RAP

• Good knowledge of ODATA

• Practical experience in development and adjustment of SAP interfaces like IDOC, API, and RFC

• Experience in analyzing and optimizing performance in the Backend, especially for Material and Document Stems

• Security in creating technical documents and documentation

• Competence in formulating and implementing requirements

• Experience in using the SAP Solution Manager

• Ability to work independently and self-responsibly in a home office

• High assertiveness and communication skills paired with strong team spirit

• Structured and consistently solution-oriented working style

• Very good German language skills as project language

Can-Have Requirements

• Experience in the Service area in connection with Advanced Execution or EAM + Service

• Knowledge of Fiori UX

• Experience in development using UI5 under utilization of JavaScript and TypeScript

• Practical experience with the SAP NetWeaver Gateway

• Basic knowledge of Document Management (DMS)

• Safe handling of Jira and Confluence tools

• Knowledge of version control using GitLab

The capacity for this position is 0.5 FTE (50%). The deployment is planned until the end of 2026.
