SAP MDG Techno-Functional Consultant

SAP MDG - Techno Functional | 2 positions | 6 months Freelance contract | Fully remote

Contract length: April 2026 + extensions

Location: Fully remote

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience
• Strong proficiency in Core ABAP
• Advanced ABAP OO development capabilities
• Solid expertise in Enhancements (BADIs, User Exits, Enhancement Framework)
• Proven experience in building and optimising CDS Views
• Demonstrated techno-functional experience within SAP MDG Vendor / Business Partner processes

Preferred Skills (Highly Advantageous)

• Practical experience in SAP MDG Customer and Vendor domains
• Proficiency with Floorplan Manager (FPM) and User Interface Building Blocks (UIBB)
• Working knowledge of SAP MDG APIs (Governance, Context, External APIs)
• Strong BRF+ skills, including rule configuration and decision logic design
• Experience designing and maintaining SAP MDG workflows
• Competence in extending MDG Data Models and UI Models
• Hands-on experience with SMT Mapping (Source Mapping Tools)
• Knowledge of MDG Validations and Derivations frameworks
• Understanding of Business Partner and Vendor harmonisation concepts in S/4HANA
