Summary

Under the direction of Finance Systems Governance, the SAP Master Data Management (MDM) Steward/Analyst is responsible for the management, validation, and analysis of SAP Financial Master Data. This role supports global finance operations by ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely master data while collaborating closely with requestors, subject matter experts (SMEs), and technical teams. The position is a hands on, processing focused role requiring strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end to end master data requests for SAP Financial Master Data, including General Ledger Accounts, Profit Centers, and Cost Centers, from initial request review through final closure in Informatica MDM Reference 360
• Validate submitted master data values within the Finance Master Data Workflow to ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with governance standards
• Prepare Informatica master data load files in Excel for senior team members to upload into Informatica Reference 360; independently execute data loads once training and proficiency are achieved
• Perform master data analysis and quality reviews to identify and resolve data issues
• Communicate request status, issues, and resolutions clearly to requestors and SMEs
• Support master data related projects, enhancements, and initiatives as needed
• Participate in master data workflow (WF) testing and user acceptance testing
• Maintain documentation and adhere to established master data governance processes
• Serve in a hands on, keyboard intensive processing role with a strong focus on accuracy and timeliness

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience working with master data and master data management principles
• Strong understanding of SAP Financial Master Data, including General Ledger Accounts, Profit Centers, and Cost Centers
• Demonstrated ability to navigate and work effectively within the SAP ERP environment
• Strong Excel skills, including the preparation and analysis of master data load files
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and manage both small and large data sets
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with business requestors and SMEs
• Strong customer service mindset and attention to detail
• Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Finance and Accounting
• Experience with Informatica Reference 360 or similar MDM platforms
• Working knowledge of SQL
