SAP Inhouse Consultant (m/w/d) Supply Chain

The Hywax GmbH is part of the international AWAX Group with around 700 employees worldwide. At our location in the Hamburg harbor, around 300 employees and trainees produce a broad range of paraffin waxes on mineral oil and synthetic basis, wax emulsions, and Vaseline. We also operate production facilities in Linz (Austria) and Birkenhead (UK).

Our products are used worldwide - for example, in hot-melt adhesives, paper and packaging, paints and coatings, cosmetics and pharmaceutical products, wood materials, candles or road construction.

We are looking for an experienced SAP personality who enjoys shaping modern system landscapes actively, developing business processes further, and driving international projects forward. If you combine technical depth with pragmatic implementation, you will fit in perfectly with our team.

Aufgaben

• You analyze business processes and identify targeted optimization potential.
• You design and implement modern application and system architectures for SAP MM, SD, LE, and EH&S - including a secure integration into the existing IT landscape.
• You are responsible for customizing as well as continuous further development of SAP modules and interfaces and manage external service providers.
• You introduce ERP solutions and accompany them sustainably (self-developments, SAP extensions or marketable software solutions).
• You advise departments competently on IM systems and IT infrastructure and plan and conduct user training sessions.
• You take over the leadership of project teams and ensure that milestones, time plans, and quality standards are met.
• You work closely with international IT colleagues to design and implement solutions in line with global standards.

Qualifikation

• You hold a completed relevant university degree and several years of professional experience in SAP consulting or a comparable environment.
• You bring fundamental expertise in SAP MM, SD, LE, and EH&S and have a good understanding of module-spanning integrations and system architectures.
• Knowledge of customs management, ABAP, and other SAP modules (e.g. PP/PM) is advantageous.
• Experience in migration projects from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA is desirable.
• You convince through analytical strength as well as a secure appearance in presentations and project management.
• You communicate very securely on German and English and bring advanced intercultural competence.
• You work proactively, solution-oriented, and flexibly and feel comfortable in self-responsible tasks.
• You bring team spirit, resilience, and the ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments with sovereignty.
