Senior SAP HCM / ECP Functional Consultant (AMS) – US & Mexico Payroll Role Summary Senior SAP HCM Functional Consultant to provide L2/L3 AMS support in a highly customized, demanding enterprise environment, with deep expertise in US & Mexico payroll and the ability to troubleshoot complex production issues end to end with business and ABAP teams. Key Responsibilities • Own AMS run support (L2/L3): analyze incidents, resolve defects, support minor enhancements, and ensure production stability during regular maintenance windows; collaborate with ECP team members to identify and prioritize AMS-related issues; provide expert-level guidance on AMS configuration, data migration, and integration with other SAP modules; develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for AMS processes and procedures. • Collaborate closely with ABAP developers to troubleshoot complex production issues end-to-end, leveraging deep knowledge of SAP HCM business processes and technical expertise in ABAP programming language. • Provide expert-level support for US & Mexico payroll processing, including configuration, testing, and maintenance of payroll-related workflows; ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations. • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including business users, IT teams, and other SAP HCM functional consultants to drive successful project outcomes and continuous improvement initiatives. • Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP HCM releases, patches, and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve AMS performance, stability, and security; participate in knowledge-sharing sessions and contribute to the development of internal training materials.
