Our client is a consulting firm and IT service provider specializing in SAP HCM with around 60 employees, viewing itself as a holistic full-service partner for its clients.

Responsibilities

• Support and consulting for the SAP HCM modules PA, PE, OM, PKP, ESS/MSS, FITV – with a focus on PY-DE and PT, including follow-up activities, schemas, and cycles
• Optimization and further development of your clients' SAP HCM application landscapes – not just reactively, but proactively
• After onboarding, independently take over and carry out individual sub-projects or tasks
• Customer support remotely or from home office and – if necessary – on-site at the client's premises (max. approx. 20% travel)
• You will use SAP HCM as your primary work basis – including schemas, cycles, customizing, and interface control
• You will work closely with the Team Lead, internal departments, and your clients
• Interest in cloud topics such as SAP SuccessFactors and Employee Central Payroll – this will be fostered, not assumed

Qualifications

• Demonstrable track record as an SAP HCM consultant with in-depth practical experience in PA, PY-DE, and/or PT – not just theoretical, but with real client projects
• You bring relevant professional experience in the SAP HCM environment: 0–2 years (Junior), 3 years (Mid-Level), or 4+ years (Senior) – with demonstrable customer support and project experience
• You have significantly shaped at least one company or project over a period of 2+ years, building genuine customer relationships
• Very good German language skills (C1 level) – you advise clients in German, write concepts, and conduct workshops
• English language skills desirable
• Willingness to travel nationwide up to approx. 20% – you will visit your clients on-site when necessary
• You are operationally strong and simultaneously clear in your consulting – you don't just configure, but explain to clients why it works better that way
• Team player, communicative, customer-oriented – you value exchange and actively contribute
• Ideally, knowledge of ABAP development methods – not mandatory, but a plus
• Interest in SAP SuccessFactors and Employee Central Payroll – we invest in your further development

• SAP HCM theorists who only know modules from training courses
• Consultants who only configure but don't want to talk to clients
• People without numerical understanding or process discipline
• Pure system administrators without a consulting mentality
• Candidates who expect a perfectly prepared system instead of understanding client landscapes themselves
• Candidates with insufficient German language skills – client consulting in German is non-negotiable
• Candidates who present 20% travel readiness as a burden rather than normality
• For the Schwalbach location: No career starters or junior candidates – genuine consulting experience is assumed here
