SAP FICO Functional analyst Location: Hyderabad, Telangana, India Department: Global Technology Services (or relevant department) Reports To: Head of Applications FUNCTION CONTEXT POSITIONING Position SAP FICO Functional analyst Supervisory role No Reports to Grade (Hay) 16 PURPOSE OF THE ROLE Within the IT Flat Europe organization, the Digital & IT Finance and Procurement perimeter is responsible for the IT Strategy of the Finance and Procurement functions, including efficiency, process and synergy improvements. The position will be part of the SAP FICO team, which is responsible for the implementation and maintenance of the Financial Accounting (FICO) module within the SAP ERP system. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications for the SAP FICO module. 2. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and develop solutions that meet those needs. 3. Design, configure, test, and implement SAP FICO solutions in accordance with company standards and best practices. 4. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. 5. Provide training and support to end-users on the use of SAP FICO systems. 6. Troubleshoot issues and resolve problems related to SAP FICO implementations. 7. Stay up-to-date with new developments in SAP FICO and apply this knowledge to improve processes and systems. REQUIREMENTS Education Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field Experience Minimum 3 years of experience in SAP FICO implementation and maintenance, preferably in the finance industry Certifications SAP Certified Associate - Financial Accounting (FICO) or equivalent Knowledge of SAP ERP system, particularly the FICO module, including financial accounting, general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and asset management. Strong understanding of business processes and financial concepts. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with stakeholders. SKILLS AND TOOLS 1. SAP ERP system (SAP FICO module) 2. SAP Certified Associate - Financial Accounting (FICO) or equivalent 3.
