We are looking for an experienced SAP FI consultant to support the implementation of a new general ledger (New GL) within an existing SAP ECC landscape. The goal of the project is to prepare technically and procedurally for a future S/4 HANA migration.

Your tasks

• Implementation and configuration of the new general ledger (New GL) in the SAP ECC system

• Implementation of scenario 5 (Parallel Books over Ledger / Parallel Ledger) to depict different accounting regulations

• Conceptualization and setup of document splitting (Document Splitting) within financial accounting

• Expert advice on optimizing ledger scenarios in view of the planned S/4 HANA migration

• Conducting functional and integration tests for the new general ledger components

• Ensuring a structured knowledge transfer regarding the implemented New GL functionalities

Must-Requirements

• Long-standing experience as SAP-FI consultant in the SAP ECC environment

• Proven expertise in introducing the new general ledger (New GL) including document splitting

• Detailed knowledge and project experience in implementing scenario 5 (Parallel Books over Ledger / Parallel Ledger)

• Secure handling of configuration and functional application of document splitting

• Experience in projects preparing for S/4 HANA migration within financial accounting

• Project experience in the municipal energy supply sector

Can-Requirements

• Knowledge of further migration scenarios for New GL, such as scenario 3

• Willingness to exchange professional experiences and knowledge transfer within the project team

The assignment can run completely remotely and flexibly in terms of time with approximately 1 PT per week utilization.
