We are looking for a SAP EHS Developer (m/w/d), who feels at home in consulting and is responsible for the entire project packages. For a nationwide rollout on an S/4 Hana platform, we are seeking a developer who can conceptualize and implement requirements in ABAP-OO under S/4 Hana (especially Core Data Services, Business Object Processing Framework).

Your tasks

• Conceptualizing and implementing requirements in the SAP environment using ABAP-OO under S/4 Hana (especially Core Data Services, Business Object Processing Framework)

• Interface conceptualization and programming: SAP Gateway, OData, Web service/RFC interface implementation

• Documentation of technical components

• Troubleshooting errors from test phases in applications/components

• Conducting component tests, module tests, module group tests

• Creating system documentation

• Creating delivery packages for the relevant applications

• Possibly setting up development environments

• Possibly developing forms using all three SAP technologies - Adobe Forms, Smart Forms, and SAP Script

• Providing performance in accordance with the agreed standards and specifications of the client (framework agreement, process model, possibly further specifications)

• Quality of conceptual design and developed software code

• Documentation of technical components

• Conducting code reviews, component tests, function tests

• Preparing decision-making documents on technical topics

• Presentations on complex technical issues

• Reporting risks and problems to the project management

• Development (using the Eclipse development environment) in SAP EHS (Module RM, IM, OH, HSM) paired with process knowledge

• ABAP-OO development using the Business Object Processing Frameworks

• Development of OData interfaces using the SAP Gateway

• Interface programming including Web services/RFC interface implementation

• SAP FIORI web development

Must requirements

• Several project references to implementation services in the SAP context from the last few years, at least one project under S/4 HANA

• In-depth experience in software development in SAP under S/4 HANA, including ABAP-OO, Test Driven Development (TDD), and ABAP Unit

• Outstanding problem-solving and work organization skills, especially troubleshooting abilities when resolving errors from production and test

• Practical experience in implementing SAP Fiori

• Relevant experience in interface programming

May requirements

• In-depth methodological competence and knowledge of modeling and common process models

• Know-how for identifying opportunities and risks in the project context

• Proven presentation know-how

• Outstanding communication and moderation skills

• Specialized experience with the SAP EHS modules Incident Management, Risk-Management, Hazardous Substances Management, and Occupational Health

• Practical experience in using Eclipse as a development environment

• Knowledge and experience in handling SAP OData interfaces
