Job Title: SAP Master Data Migration Lead

AP S/4 for Utilities migration project, ensuring the accurate and efficient migration of data from ECC and other legacy systems to SAP S/4 Hana.

• Lead SAP master data migration projects for utilities (preferably Canadian utilities).
• Support, train, and mentor an internal migration lead using a 2-in-the-box model.
• Work closely with an internal project manager managing the data migration stream.
• Lead a team of contractors for data profiling, cleansing, and migration.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data requirements, validate data integrity, and resolve migration-related issues.
• Ensure compliance with data governance policies and standards.
• Lead thorough testing and validation of migrated data.
• Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting throughout the project lifecycle.

Four-year degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Statistics, Applied Mathematics

OR

Two-year diploma in Computer Programming Technology from a recognized institute.

• 8 years of directly applicable experience.
• Experience with data migrations from SAP ECC to S/4 for Utilities.
• Experience with data migrations in the utility sector.
• Experience with using various data migration tools and solutions (Syniti, BODS, LMSW, MDG, etc.).
• Experience in project management and leading cross-functional teams.
• Experience with data integrity, data accuracy, and data completeness during migration activities.

• Co-Lead and manage the end-to-end master data migration stream from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA for Utilities.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the master data migration team (employees and contractors).
• Work closely with the co-leader to make joint decisions and drive project success.
• Collaborate with business process owners (BPOs) and internal teams to understand data migration requirements.
• Develop comprehensive data migration strategies and plans, aligning with business objectives.
• Lead and design ETL processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
• Develop and maintain mock load & cutover plans, ensuring system readiness.
• Ensure compliance with data governance and security standards.
• Lead data profiling, validation, and testing to ensure data quality and integrity.
• Monitor and report on project progress, ensuring timely completion of milestones.
• Establish and track KPIs for data migration, providing updates to senior leadership and PMO.
• Provide ongoing support and guidance to the internal resource.

• Strong ability to work collaboratively with co-leaders and team members.
• Demonstrated ability to make informed decisions and take collective responsibility.
• Strong knowledge of SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA for Utilities data structures and migration tools.
• Strong understanding of Data Migration Methodology (ETL) including profiling, cleansing, and validation.
