About the project

We are looking for an expert who will combine knowledge of SAP, data management, and migrations with the ability to lead complex business projects!

Join a strategic program for the spin-off of a part of the company, where you will be responsible for comprehensive data management – from defining its scope and ensuring quality, through planning extraction, to validating and transferring data to the new organization.

This role is for an experienced individual who navigates freely in the SAP environment, can collaborate with business and IT, and effectively coordinates the actions of multiple stakeholders.

Your responsibilities

• Coordinating the Data Management area in a spin-off or separation program of a part of the company.
• Defining the scope of data intended for transfer and the minimum viable dataset (MVD).
• Managing data inventory in SAP and non-SAP systems.
• Identifying dependencies between data, systems, and business processes.
• Collaborating with data owners, IT teams, legal departments, and data protection specialists.
• Overseeing data quality, its profiling, cleansing, and validation.
• Planning the extraction strategy, the order of data transfer, and migration activities.
• Coordinating data reconciliation, handling discrepancies, and obtaining business approvals.
• Supporting cutover planning and ensuring data readiness for Day 1.
• Preparing documentation, reports, dependency analyses, and data readiness assessments.

Our requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience in data migration, Data Governance, or Data Management.
• Practical experience with SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA – this is a mandatory requirement.
• Good knowledge of Master Data and transactional data in the SAP environment.
• Experience in data migration projects, ensuring their quality, and cleansing.
• Knowledge of data management principles and defining data ownership.
• Experience in conducting workshops with business and IT representatives.
• Ability to coordinate the work of multiple teams and manage stakeholders.
• Ability for analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making in a complex project environment.

Nice to have

• Experience in carve-out, separation, merger, acquisition, or divestiture projects.
• Knowledge of migration tools such as Syniti ADMM, SNP, or SAP Data Services.
• Knowledge of SAP processes in finance, procurement, production, supply chain, quality, or maintenance areas.
• Experience collaborating with Legal, Privacy, and Compliance departments.
• Knowledge of GDPR requirements in the context of data transfer.
