Job Title: (Senior) SAP PSM Consultant (m/f/d) – Public Sector

Permanent Position | Full-time or Part-time | [up to 80% - Remote] | [Nuremberg/Munich]

VSP GmbH supports public sector clients in the digitalization and optimization of their business processes. We combine technical understanding of public budgets with in-depth SAP expertise and pragmatic, partnership-based consulting.

Responsibilities

• You will advise our public sector clients on the implementation, further development, and optimization of SAP PSM.
• You will analyze budget, budgeting, and fund management processes and develop suitable solution concepts.
• You will take over customization, especially in SAP PSM-FM and SAP BCS.
• You will accompany implementation, migration, and transformation projects – from requirements gathering to productive operation.
• You will actively shape the transition from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA.
• You will moderate workshops and coordinate directly with business departments, project managers, and development teams.
• You will create functional concepts, test cases, training materials, and system documentation.
• Depending on your experience, you will take on sub-project or project responsibility.

Qualifications

• Practical experience in SAP consulting or SAP application support
• In-depth knowledge of SAP PSM
• Experience with customizing as well as budget planning, budgeting, or fund management
• Understanding of the processes and requirements of public administrations
• Knowledge of adjacent modules such as SAP FI, CO, MM, or PS is an advantage
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA, Fiori, or transformation projects is welcome
• A university degree, vocational training, or a comparable qualification
• A structured, self-reliant, and customer-oriented way of working
• Very good German language skills, both written and spoken
• Willingness for occasional, predictable on-site client appointments
