We are looking for an expert (m/w/d) for SAP Basis and technical Conversion to accompany an S/4HANA Brownfield Project including system migration to the RISE Cloud (Private Cloud Edition).

Ihre Aufgaben

• Analysis of the existing SAP ECC System regarding release status, add-ons, custom code, and data volume to evaluate conversion feasibility

• Definition of the technical Conversion strategy, including selection of SUM scenarios and downtime strategies

• Alignment of the target architecture for S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition considering RISE guidelines and cloud operation

• Planning and accompaniment of technical preparatory work such as maintenance strategies, add-on compatibility, and SUM preparations

• Support in technical preparation of custom codes and setup of corresponding tools

• Definition of technical cutover and fallback scenarios, as well as planning the conversion sequence for the system landscape

• Technical execution of the Conversion using Software Update Manager (SUM) including phase control and error analysis and correction

• Execution of Database Migration Option (DMO) including System Move

• Performance and runtime optimization of conversion processes

• Creation of technical documentation for revision and operation

• Technical Hypercare support after the Conversion, as well as handover to RISE-compliant operation and AMS

Muss-Anforderungen

• Concrete project experience in SAP S/4HANA Brownfield Conversions

• Funded knowledge in SAP SUM (Software Update Manager) including DMO / DMO with System Move

• Very good knowledge in SAP Basis (SAP NetWeaver, SAP HANA, OS/DB topics, as well as performance analysis)

• Experience with SAP RISE / S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition

• Security in working within SAP guidelines and SAP Notes

• Experience with complex system landscapes (multiple satellites, high data volumes)

• Structured, planning-oriented work style and high problem-solving ability

• Sovereign handling of customer IT, departments, and SAP

• Very good communication skills in German and English

Kann-Anforderungen

• Experience with Near Zero Downtime (nZDM / Downtime Optimized DMO)

• Experience in controlling SAP within the context of RISE operation model

• Knowledge about SAP SLT and Migration Cockpit (classification and delimitation)

• Knowledge about SAP Readiness & Simplification Tools

• SAP certifications in the area of Basis or S/4HANA

The performance delivery takes place mainly remote with punctual meetings at the customer's site after coordination.
