• Experience administering SAP S/4HANA and/or SAP ECC (R/3) environments.
• Solid knowledge of SAP NetWeaver, STMS (Transport Management System), and PFCG (roles and authorizations).
• Leadership skills to coordinate technical teams and manage the operation of critical platforms.
• Maintain a service-oriented vision, focusing on operational continuity and continuous improvement.
• Analytical skills to monitor performance indicators and make timely decisions.
• Proficiency in Excel at an intermediate level.
• Intermediate level of English for managing and consulting technical documentation.

What is the role?

SAP Basis Lead

You will be responsible for administering, coordinating, and ensuring the technical and functional operation of the organization's SAP platform, leading the SAP Basis team to guarantee the availability, stability, performance, and security of the systems.

Additionally, you will oversee the correct execution of installation, configuration, monitoring, maintenance, and change management activities, ensuring the operational continuity of the various SAP environments.

What will you do in the role?

• Lead and coordinate the activities of the SAP Basis team, ensuring compliance with service levels (SLAs), best practices, and established technical guidelines.
• Ensure the integral operation of the SAP platform through continuous monitoring, execution of preventive and corrective activities, and timely handling of critical incidents.
• Administer and supervise user access control, including new user creation, deactivations, changes, unlocks, roles, profiles, authorizations, and licenses, ensuring compliance with security policies and segregation of duties.
• Monitor and analyze the performance of the SAP platform using availability, capacity, and performance indicators, driving continuous improvement actions.
• Coordinate the implementation of changes, transports, updates, and enhancements in the different SAP environments.
• Generate and present operational reports related to incidents, user movements, permissions, changes, and system activities to support decision-making.

What are we looking for in the person joining the team?

Academic background

• Bachelor's degree or Engineering degree in Systems, Computing, Informatics, or related field.

Experience and technical knowledge

• Experience administering SAP S/4HANA and/or SAP ECC (R/3) environments.
• Knowledge of SAP NetWeaver.
• Experience with STMS (Transport Management System).
• Administration of roles and authorizations using PFCG.
• Management of accesses, users, and compliance with security controls.
• Monitoring and optimization of SAP platform performance.
