SAP BASIS Operation and Maintenance Engineer

A minimum of 3 years of implementation or O&M experience in SAP BASIS module, with at least 3 years of overseas O&M or consulting experience.
Familiar with the planning and deployment of SAP products including SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC and SAP HANA.
Capable of SAP system performance optimization and troubleshooting (e.g., SQL tuning, system log analysis).
Experience in database administration (SAP HANA, Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, etc.).
Proficiency in system security configuration and user permission management.
Provide technical support related to SAP Fiori and UI5.
Well-versed in the technical architecture and new functionalities of SAP S/4HANA.
Hands-on experience in implementing and maintaining SAP cloud solutions (SAP S/4HANA Cloud, SAP Ariba, SAP SuccessFactors, etc.).
Familiar with high availability and disaster recovery solutions for SAP systems (SAP HANA System Replication, SAP LaMa, etc.).
Basic scripting capabilities (ABAP, Python, Shell, etc.) to realize automated operation and maintenance as well as system monitoring.
Knowledge of IT regulations and compliance requirements across various countries and regions (GDPR, data privacy protection, etc.).

Educational Background:

College diploma or above (equivalent overseas academic qualification) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration or other related disciplines.
Candidates with research background in SAP or relevant technical fields are preferred.

Certification Requirements:

Hold SAP certifications (SAP S/4HANA, SAP HANA, SAP Basis certifications, etc.).
ITIL Foundation certification is preferred.
Certifications for cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Alibaba Cloud, etc.) are a plus.

Language Proficiency:

Fluent English with professional oral and written communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

Be responsible for the installation, operation, maintenance and optimization of SAP systems to ensure stable and high-performance system operation.
Evaluate business requirements, design and implement SAP server architecture, including planning for hardware, software and databases.
Monitor SAP system performance, analyze and resolve system bottlenecks, and guarantee high availability and disaster recovery capabilities of the systems.
Manage SAP system security, covering data encryption, access control and security audit.
Coordinate cross-functional teams to align SAP systems closely with business requirements.
Compile technical documentation, including system architecture designs, operation manuals and troubleshooting guides.
