We are looking for an Infrastructure Engineer for the operation, migration and maintenance of SAP applications in cloud infrastructures. A significant part of the task includes the management of database landscapes with a focus on SAP HANA as well as ensuring IT security and system availability in 24/7 operations.

Ihre Aufgaben

• Performance delivery according to the agreed standards and specifications of the client (framework agreement, process model, ggf. further specifications)

• Planning, implementation and maintenance of IT infrastructures and cloud systems within the scope of the performance context under consideration of existing standards and the IT strategy

• Analysis of the managed application regarding security-critical requirements as well as derivation and implementation of measures to comply with company-wide security guidelines

• Ensuring the availability of the operated applications and compliance with SLA definitions technical requirements for the task

• Presentations on technically complex topics at the customer

• Reporting (Betriebs-)risks and problems to the technical architects and project management

• Developing the technical architecture based on the requirements, coordination and monitoring of its realization in the project (quality assurance)

• Identifying non-functional requirements, documentation, coordination and monitoring of their realization in the project (quality assurance)

• Programming, implementation and customization of technical components in applications based on the used technologies including interfaces, modules and corresponding databases (with a focus on SAP HANA) under compliance with existing standards

• Correcting errors from test phases in applications and components

• Documentation of technical components

• Creating system documentation

• Covering SLAs in 7/24 mode through participation in shift work or on-call duty (rotation of six weeks for one week)

• Security Management through analysis, correction and documentation of security findings of all priority classes as well as coordination of necessary measures with other parties

• Operation Management including provision and updating of components and procedures according to specifications, planning the operation and monitoring components

• Incident Management through handling of disturbance cases, communication of problem solution to Ticket Owner and forwarding in escalation case

• Trouble Management through independent handling of trouble tickets and inquiries as well as escalation at critical problems

• Documentation of IT infrastructures and cloud systems of the operated applications

• Development of processes for automating IT infrastructure and cloud systems

Must-Anforderungen

• Very good and practical current knowledge of relevant operating systems, in particular SuSE Linux, demonstrated by a corresponding certification or at least 5 years of practical experience

• At least 5 years of practical experience in Security Management, including analysis, correction and documentation of security findings of all priority classes as well as coordination of necessary measures and communication of the solution status

• Demonstration of a corresponding certification or at least 6 years of practical experience in design, installation, operation, maintenance and monitoring of standard applications and technologies in SAP-relevant areas such as SAP Basis Technology, SAP R3/S4, SAP Cluster Technologies (SIOS), SAP AS-Java and SAP Cloud Platforms

• At least 5 years of practical experience in Operation Management, particularly in provision, updating, planning, preparation and monitoring of components and procedures

• Very good and practical current knowledge of installation, operation and design of Oracle and S/4-HANA databases, with a focus on SAP HANA, demonstrated by certification or at least 5 years of practical experience

Kann-Anforderungen

• Demonstration of qualification for German language skills at Level C2 as well as English language skills at Level B2 in writing and speaking

• At least 5 years of practical experience in Incident Management, including handling of disturbance cases, communication of problem solution to Ticket Owner and forwarding in escalation case

• At least 5 years of practical experience in Trouble Management for independent handling of trouble tickets and inquiries as well as escalation at critical problems

• At least 5 years of practical experience in documentation of IT infrastructures and cloud systems of the operated applications

• At least 2 years of practical experience in development of processes for automating IT infrastructure and cloud systems

Weitere Informationen

The place of performance is Frankfurt am Main. The task requires participation in a 7/24 operation mode including shift work and on-call duty. A hybrid working style with remote components is planned.
