SAP Basis Expert

About the Role We are looking for a Senior SAP Basis Expert to own, maintain, and optimize our global SAP landscape across Development, QA, and Production environments. In this role, you will act as the technical backbone of our SAP ecosystem, driving system administration, database performance tuning, major upgrades, and seamless cloud integrations. You will closely collaborate with Cross-Functional Applications, Infrastructure, and Security teams to guarantee the stability, high availability, scalability, and security of our SAP systems. Your responsibilities will include: • Designing, implementing, and maintaining a scalable and highly available SAP landscape across multiple environments. • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with other applications and systems. • Performing system administration tasks such as user management, role assignments, and access control. • Conducting database performance tuning and optimization for improved query performance and reduced latency. • Planning and executing major upgrades to SAP systems, including testing and validation of new releases. • Integrating cloud-based services with our on-premise SAP landscape to ensure seamless data exchange and processing. • Developing and maintaining technical documentation and knowledge base articles to support the team and organization. Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. • At least 5 years of experience as an SAP Basis Expert or similar role. • In-depth knowledge of SAP systems, including system administration, database performance tuning, and major upgrades. • Experience with cloud-based services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. • Strong understanding of security principles and best practices for SAP systems. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
