SAP Basis Administrator (m/w/d)

Tasks

• Administration and operation of the SAP system landscape
• Analyzing and solving SAP disruptions in daily business
• Setting up, maintaining, and further developing SAP interfaces to other systems
• Documented interfaces, data flows, error patterns, and operating concepts
• Monitoring SAP jobs, interface runs, and system availability
• Steering and coordinating external service providers as needed
• Planning and implementing technical SAP changes, updates, and transports
• Supporting SAP projects, rollouts, and optimizations
• Conceptualizing, coordinating, and planning IT projects, as well as supporting their implementation
• Maintaining the network and server infrastructure and ensuring a smooth IT operation

Qualification

• Completed vocational training or studies in the IT field, alternatively comparable professional experience
• Several years of professional experience in the SAP environment
• Very good knowledge of SAP Basis Administration
• Experience with SAP interfaces to third-party systems, e.g. ERP, MES, WMS, EDI, Shop, CRM
• Practical experience in setting up, operating, and documenting integrations, APIs, RFC, IDoc, File, Webservices
• Understanding of network, permissions, user management, and system operation
• Structured working style, clean and understandable documentation
• Experience with Microsoft 365 Administration, server-, network infrastructure and components
• Good English skills in writing and speaking
