SAP-Basis Administrator (m/w/d) at University Hospital Jena

The University Hospital Jena relies on modern SAP landscapes and high-performance HANA databases for its digital infrastructure. For the further development and stable operation of these central systems, we are looking for someone who works technically clean, recognizes failures early, and reliably drives the SAP basis forward with the departments.

Tasks

• Administration, optimization, and monitoring of SAP systems (ERP, Solution Manager) as well as SAP HANA databases including backup and restore
• Safeguarding the SAP operation and implementing tasks within the framework of application-, release- and lifecycle management
• Proactive introduction of measures to prevent system failures and/or downtime
• Independent processing of incidents and second-level support, supporting projects and advising departments and software maintenance personnel on technical and administrative issues

Qualification

• SUCCESSFUL completion of a degree in computer science or a similar field with an IT background
• IT experience and basic knowledge in the administration of SAP systems as well as SAP technologies
• Initial knowledge for relevant database (SAP HANA) and operating systems (Linux, Windows)
• Teamwork skills, flexibility, willingness to take on tasks, and resilience
• High customer- and service-orientedness, developed social and communicative competence
