SAP Area Lead

What will you do

As SAP Area Lead, you are responsible for managing the technical, applicative, and transactional processes within Retail, Finance, and Supply Chain (SAP Retail).

Specifically, you will take the leading role within the domain of Master Data (MD) and Source to Assort (S2A, all technical and functional processes related to promotion, pricing, and assortment management). You will support the business concerning all processes that are part of your domain to deliver simplified and optimized processes and tools that increase E2E supply chain efficiency.

Your responsibilities:

• As an Area Lead, you support the business and act as the link to our IT departments.
• You actively participate in projects: you analyze the technical, applicative, and operational processes of the project and propose solutions.
• You plan, organize, and manage your area regarding staffing, workload, and processes in consultation with your manager.
• You coordinate and prioritize requests to your business's IT department to provide efficient and adequate support for the most important and urgent requests.
• You are responsible for resolving complex incidents and supporting the experts and specialists within the BPO team, as well as our internal clients (Master Data Team, Pricing Teams, Assortment Teams, etc.) in providing expert solutions for issues, improvements, or problems.
• You ensure adequate training for stakeholders, for example, when introducing new fields or launching new tools.
• You define KPIs, monitor them, and develop joint reporting with the aim of creating visibility for all stakeholders regarding status, stability, completeness, and performance.
• You report to the Head of BPO.

Who are you

• You can demonstrate at least 5 years of experience in master data and/or supply chain processes.
• You have operational knowledge of retail processes.
• You have in-depth knowledge of SAP (Retail) and master data, assortment, promo creation, and pricing.
• Knowledge of other business user applications (SAP BW, Incident Management tools, DIAMS Delhaize article management tool, Power BI, etc.) is a plus.
• You are a fluent, assertive communicator and you dare to be visible.
• You are pragmatic and have critical thinking skills.
• You can set priorities.
• You express yourself fluently in Dutch, French, and English.
