SAP ABAP Developer (m/f/d)

Depending on your experience and interests, we will find a position that suits you technically and personally – from classic ABAP development and further development of existing SAP systems, through modern development with ABAP Objects, CDS Views, or SAP Fiori, to participation in S/4HANA transformations, interface projects, and sophisticated digitization projects.

We are looking for SAP ABAP developers and in-house developers, as well as technical consultants and SAP application developers.

Responsibilities

• Development, customization, and further development of SAP applications with ABAP and ABAP Objects
• Implementation of functional requirements into technical solutions, e.g., reports, forms, dialog programs, and enhancements
• Development and support of interfaces, as well as utilization of enhancement techniques such as BAdIs, User Exits, or Customer Exits
• Error analysis, debugging, testing, and technical optimization of existing SAP applications
• Participation in SAP S/4HANA, migration, rollout, and digitization projects
• Depending on focus, development with modern SAP technologies such as CDS Views, OData, SAP Fiori, or SAPUI5
• Close collaboration with SAP consultants, business departments, key users, and external partners, as well as potential assumption of sub-project responsibility

Your specific tasks will depend on your knowledge, experience level, and the respective position.

Qualifications

• Apprenticeship or degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable technical qualification
• Professional experience in SAP development with ABAP
• Good knowledge of SAP ABAP, ideally complemented by experience with ABAP Objects
• Experience in the development, customization, and further development of SAP applications
• Knowledge in areas such as reports, forms, interfaces, enhancements, or data processing
• Experience with SAP modules such as SD, MM, PP, FI/CO, WM/EWM, or other modules is advantageous
• Knowledge in the area of SAP S/4HANA is desirable
• Experience with modern SAP technologies such as CDS Views, OData, REST, SAP Fiori, SAPUI5, RAP, or SAP BTP is advantageous
• Knowledge in interface development, for example with IDocs, RFC, BAPIs, APIs, or Web services, is also advantageous
• Understanding of business processes and the collaboration between IT and business departments
• Structured, analytical, and solution-oriented approach to work
• Enjoyment of technical development and solving complex requirements
• Strong communication skills and an independent way of working
• Very good German language skills, both written and spoken

You do not have to master all the mentioned SAP technologies or modules. What matters are your previous experiences in ABAP development, your professional interests, and your willingness to learn modern SAP technologies and new subject areas.
