SAP ABAP Developer (m/w/d)

I'm looking for a SAP ABAP Developer (m/w/d), preferably with experience in coordinating developers, for an exciting (remote-) project!

Brief details:

• Start: ASAP
• Duration: 6 months (+ extension option until May 2027)
• Location: Gelsenkirchen, mostly remote
• Utilization: Partial utilization, 3 days/week
• Language: German

Task areas:

• SAP ABAP development and architecture within a SAP transformation project
• Coordination and technical guidance of external developer teams (e.g. from service providers)
• Implementation of business processes in the SAP Common Layer
• Support for setting up and introducing a Development Board to control and ensure quality of development activities
• Development and maintenance of interfaces, particularly in the area of IDoc processing
• Closely working with departments and internal IT to implement technical requirements

Requirements:

• Deep experience in SAP ABAP development, including ABAP OO, CDS Views, OData Services
• Experience in SAP architecture consulting and designing technical solutions
• Proven experience in coordinating developer teams
• Knowledge of process modeling in the SAP Common Layer
• Experience with IDoc technologies (creation, extension, error analysis)
• Ideal experience with SAP S/4HANA
• Knowledge in market communication is not required but a plus
