Description About the Role We have an exciting opportunity for a Sandblaster to join our Christchurch Warehouse team in Rolleston, reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor. Key Accountabilities Sandblasting and general warehousing tasks with use of a forklift Compliance and quality paperwork associated with sandblasting and powder coating function completed in a timely manner. Assist the warehouse team with receipt, storage and retrieval and timely dispatch of good. Powder Coating The following at all times: Ensure that all powder coated items are properly cleaned and prepared prior to application of powder coat. Ensure that all powder coated items are inspected for any defects or damage before dispatch. Ensure that all powder coated items meet the required quality standards. Assist with maintenance and upkeep of powder coating equipment. Assist with ordering and receiving of powder coating supplies. Assist with training and development of other team members in powder coating processes. Assist with continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency and productivity within the powder coating function. Assist with ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and guidelines. Assist with ensuring compliance with all relevant quality control procedures and standards. Assist with ensuring compliance with all relevant environmental regulations and guidelines. Assist with ensuring compliance with all relevant legislative requirements.
