Independent Accountant

Job description

The Independent Accountant will be responsible for comprehensive client accounting services, including full-cycle accounting, tax return preparation, and financial statement preparation. The person in this role will independently manage assigned entities, ensure the accuracy and timeliness of settlements, and maintain ongoing contact with clients and authorities, also supporting them in interpreting regulations and making business decisions. We offer stable employment (employment contract or B2B) and remuneration adequate to the level of independence and commitment. After the onboarding period, partial remote work and flexible, task-based working hours are possible.

Tasks performed

• Conducting full accounting for commercial law companies based on accounting and tax regulations using Insert and Comarch systems

• Working in a fully digital environment using Saldeo Smart OCR and Client Panel, without paper document circulation

• Current accounting of documents in an online model, with real-time client access to financial data

• Monthly preparation of the balance sheet and profit and loss statement as management tools to support business decision-making

• Providing clients with constant access to settlements with contractors, balances, and current tax situation

• Preparation of tax returns, JPK (Standard Audit File for Tax) and other mandatory reports

• Analysis and reconciliation of accounting accounts, monitoring settlements, and identifying areas requiring optimization

• Creation of financial reports tailored to the needs of management and owners

• Updating chart of accounts and accounting policies in a way that supports the client's business development and scaling

• Cooperation with entrepreneurs in a partnership model, explaining financial data and supporting them in making decisions

• Developing advisory competencies and building the role of an accountant as real business support, not just a registration entity

Mandatory requirements

• Good knowledge of accounting software. Ability to independently manage full accounting, prepare balance sheets, and P&L statements. Knowledge of current tax regulations and the Accounting Act.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in an accounting position

• Higher education in a relevant field (finance, accounting, or related)

• Minimum experience in the presented areas of work: 5 years
