Independent Accountant

Workplace: Gdańsk

Your responsibilities

• Independent accounting for clients of the accounting office;
• Checking, debiting, and entering accounting documents, including revenue and expense documents into the system, in accordance with applicable regulations;
• Maintaining sales and purchase registers and other required records;
• Independent month-end and year-end closing process;
• Preparing financial statements;
• Preparing JPK VAT, VAT UE, CIT, PIT, PCC declarations and all other necessary records, including maintaining fixed assets and accruals;
• Preparing reports for the Central Statistical Office (GUS);
• Controlling the correctness of accounting documents and verifying entries in accounting accounts;
• Preparing other required reports for tax and management purposes;
• Ensuring the correct and timely flow of documents.

Our requirements

• Higher education – accounting, finance, economics, or related fields;
• Experience in the position of an independent accountant;
• Practical knowledge of accounting principles and tax law;
• Practical knowledge of full accounting and independent maintenance of accounting records;
• Knowledge of the MS Office suite, especially MS Excel;
• Knowledge of the SYMFONIA system (FK modules, Fixed Assets) is a plus;
• Autonomy in action and reliability and accuracy in the execution of entrusted tasks;
• Interpersonal skills – building relationships with contractors and employees.
