Independent Bookkeeper/-y

We integrate them with industry leaders, including Amazon, eBay, Shopify, DHL, and FedEx. In Base.com, our mission is to support e-commerce business development in Poland and worldwide.

We are looking for a person to join one of our Business Units - BL Paczka.

Your scope of responsibilities

• bookkeeping of payroll, sales, purchase invoices, bank statements, reserves, and inter-period cost settlements; maintaining records of fixed assets and intangible and intellectual property values;
• preparing monthly balance sheets, income statements;
• participation in preparing an annual financial report;
• preparing tax declarations and information (VAT, CIT, IFT) and maintaining tax documentation (preparing declarations);
• analysis and reconciliation of subsidiary ledgers and the main ledger (settlements, sales, VAT tax);
• preparation of reports for audit purposes and cooperation with an auditor;

Our requirements:

• at least 3 years of experience in independently managing full bookkeeping;
• higher education degree: finance, accounting, economics;
• experience in independently preparing tax declarations;
• good knowledge of tax law regulations, especially VAT and CIT, including source taxation;
• good knowledge of the Accounting Act;
• good knowledge of MS Office package, particularly Excel;
• diligence, reliability, and punctuality;
• a willingness to improve processes using IT tools;
• knowledge of English language at a level enabling free communication;
